My 2 cents:

I am not a really big fan of the one liner code. I personally prefer to limit this one liner thing to be simple and understandable. The throttle function is not just a one line function it do lot of things, I feel it not good to say it a one liner : haha

Short hand coding practice is always a high learning curve think about the fresher who joined the project, the code is not readable not understandable.

A code is meant to be read and easily understood by a Human.
